I find the 6x7 very economical to use. I get 120 films from
        B&H at an average $4/roll. (Kodak E100vs & Fuji Provia 400f).
Send-out process & sleeving from the local minilab costs me
        $5.50 and takes from 3-5 days. That's basicly $1/transparancy.
My "dud-rate" has dropped dramaticly compared to 35mm, as well.
... and there's always 220 for less film changing.

On the print film side, it's $3 for local develop & sleeve.
The negs are so large that I can easily see which are the ones
to print. There is no local printing available unless you
consider the hybrid Konica outfit and an expensive scan. But
this (I tried *one* *once*) reduces quality to a disposable.
However, beautiful 4x5 proofs @ 50cents or 8x10 Duratrans at
$15 are available from the outlab I have been using. Or regular
        8x10's for $5
