Purdy lens <drool>. It still looks kind of strange.
I mean, the body and lens both wear metallic finish,
but it's not the same finish. I wonder, can you
change the finish on the body to match the lens. (I'd
imagine no one would want to doctor up a Limited
lens.)

I build scale models off and on, and apparently you
can airbrush just about any type of enamel, paint or
glaze on just about any compatible surface. So I have
this idea in the back of my mind to customize a cheap
body. I've got a K-mount Vivitar with a light leak
that might serve as a guinea pig. Of course, I'd have
to do some very good masking. We wouldn't want a
shutter sealed with paint, would we?

If anyone has any ideas or resources on redoing camera
equipment, let me know.

Thanks,
