I run a PC not a MAC but I can select what I want to copy/move from the iPhone to the iXpand and if I plug the iXpand into a USB port I can copy or move which ever images I want from the iXpand to my PC.  I suspect you can do the same thing using a MAC.

I just double-checked and the iXpand app will let you select which files you'd

A review I just read says that there’s good selectivity of files on the phone,
but not when transferring from the device to a notebook/PC. The latter they say
is all-or-nothing. They may be speaking about the iXpand app. If I plugged the
USB in to a Mac notebook would Finder be able to access it, i.e., could I
select and transfer files that way?
