In this case it's play - these are juvenile elephants. In the case of
adult bulls, a struggle for dominance.
In this very place, about 5 years ago when the water level was very low,
a bull was killed in such a fight. The park rangers removed the tusks &
slit open the skin to give scavengers easy access. During the next two
days the hyenas, jackals, crocs, vultures & maribou storks cleaned up. I
heard about it too late & only saw the left over skin & bones.
