This is a phenomenon that has become common. Even though neither of my domains 
is engaged in commerce, and there isn't anything in either domain that requires 
a login through http, I have converted both to https just to avoid emails from 
folks who think that a site is broken if they get the "has configured their 
website improperly" message.
