No Subash! Centering disturbs the

Trust!
I like the "more bird less water" of the tighter crop. I also empathize
with Jack's comment about centering. I think that you could crop a bit
more off of the left (between the two big broken shells?) and if you
want to preserve the aspect ratio a bit off the top.
The yellow clam is merely good, while the bird is great. If I were to
follow my rule of get rid of everything that is merely good, leaving
only the great stuff, I'd crop to the left where I mentioned above, crop
the bottom just below the feet, and leave stuff on the right to maintain
aspect ratio and give some space in front of the bird.

Suibash - I' not crazy about square crops but I kinda agree with
Larry on this one.. though probably would not crop as much as he is
indicating... and only then because ofthe little black bloch that is
outoof in the water.. hmm maybe photshopnoise reduction to blur the
water entirely would work too..
That little guy is one I've encountered in NOrth America - guess he
really gets around :-)
Larry, Ann: i've cropped the picture differently. hope it looks better
now...

Great shot, but could be cropped square from the left side. Nothing
to the right of the yellow clam adds anything to the photo.
