One of these with a Pentax-L 43mm f/1.9 Limited would be pretty darn neat. :-)

So is a Leica pretty much any of them, or even a Epson RD1.

I have a prediction, it doesn't have the name Leica on it, and it doesn't have a red dot, based on that I predict this camera will tank in the market, because it will require a Leica sized price and really no one really likes a range finder, (well I like rangefinders, but only in comparison to cameras that have scale focusing), if they have another choice, unless it has the name Leica on it, and there are lots of rangefinder like cameras with EVFs to choose from these days.

I also predict this for the new Zenit M, because, the Zenit was an inexpensive camera that actually cost more to make than it sold for, because the Soviet Union really needed Hard western currency.  At $5000-$7000 it just isn't worth that much for a Russian branded novelty.  If it costs like a Leica, you might as well buy a Leica.

Slightly off-topic for PDML, but I thought BobW, Cotty, and maybe a couple
others might be interested.

This is a new take on the "M-mount digital camera" that I saw on Leica Rumors:
https://pixii.fr.

Rangefinder, manual focus and exposure, no LCD, 256G built-in memory only, WiFi
connect for data transfer, etc. They don't list a sensor format and Mpixel yet,
but rumor has it that it's an APS-C format with 12 to 16 Mpixels. Another
information update is supposedly due soon.

Could be a pretty neat camera if it pans out and gets produced. Kind of an
updated, modernized take on the Ricoh GXR with M-mount camera unit fitted—the
best non-Leica M-mount camera there's been so far. Of course, that was an EVF
camera which meant it was more versatile lens-wise but its lifespan was tied to
the quality of the EVF. This is an optical finder with a rangefinder, so you're
limited to Leica M-mount lenses for focusing.

One of these with a Pentax-L 43mm f/1.9 Limited would be pretty darn neat. :-)
