Ann, I asked the question because in June of 1980 my wife and son were on a
month long back pack trip from Seattle thru Alaska and were on a Grey line
bus from Whitehorse to Fairbanks when the bus made an overnight stop at the
Beaver Creek Lodge right near the Yukon/Alaska border - wasn't much of a
place but it did offer a clean bed and edible food. Back then the entire
AlCan highway was unpaved - such a mess in the rain.

closed in 1992.. and a bit about its history.
My notes tell me I have a BW of that too.. maybe I got out of the car to
