Well, imo shedding possessions is a good thing! It's not a type of photography 
that appeals to me, at least in the sense of wanting to own copies. I have some 
stuff that I inherited that is of no interest to me, but is well thought of by 
some people and has some financial value, so i understand your friend's 
situation.
