While shooting the last frame on a roll yesterday, the zoom lens that came with my ZX-5n had some strange problems. First, the manual zoom ring froze, locked up, and would not move in either direction. Then the AF mechanism seemed to bind so that it did not move all the way into focus.
Later, at home, I looked closer at the lens, saw nothing unusual, and tried to move the zoom ring again. It quite suddenly freed up. And now the AF works jes' fine again. What might have happened?
