Looks like a fun time!  The stand-out for me is 41940 - not only an attractive subject, but an excellent use of rim lighting.

I was a photographer at Swingin’ at the Savoy, an annual dance workshop, again
this year. I did get a few photos that I particularly like.

Norma Miller was a dancer at the Savoy Ballroom back in the day, and was a
member of Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers. She’ll turn 100 at the end of the year and
was one of the VIP guests:

I’ve posted photos of Jess before. She’s a vocalist with several overlapping
jazz/swing bands. This year she was singing with Clint Baker’s Golden Gate
Swing band, she also sings with Hot Baked Goods etc.

Chester Whitmore studied tap with Fayard Nicholas, is an amazing dancer and a
wonderfully expressive photo subject.

Josh was another one of the instructors, I took an excellent solo jazz class
from him that weekend. He “interviewed” Chester for one of the lunchtime talks.

FWIW, the band photography was very challenging this year, saturated LED lights
randomly splashed against the stage. I resorted to using a speedlight with an
amber gel as fill in an attempt to get skin tones close enough to neutral to
even make an attempt at passable color correction.
