PS I have a Marantz PMD-660 <https://www.marantzpro.com/products/view/pmd660> which is quite good, if a bit old now. Records in 48k which is essential for me. I paired it up with a Sennheiser MKH-416 mic a while back and recorded my Mrs doing her interviews in a noisy store environment where a band had been gigging.
