Very interesting images, Larry. Perhaps you should plan your re-visit for mid-winter?

It turns out that there are quite a few covered bridges in this part of Oregon.  It shouldn't be much of a surprise that it's pretty challenging to photograph them at night. Just getting a clear sky to see the stars is a challenge, particularly one without the moon causing issues.

I got some near misses of the covered bridge on Harris Road, I was shooting at too high an ISO and totally blew out the sky glow from Corvallis.

The covered bridge in Chitwood had the interesting challenge of being lit with some weird greenish light from a house across the street.

They'll definitely be worth revisits once I get another chance with dark, clear, skies. I'll try shooting at similar times (10-30 seconds) but at a lower ISO than 6400, possibly bracketing ISO to see if that makes a difference.

I thought I had made a panorama of shots with astrotracer, but I don't see that one, I'll add it in a bit.  Here's my trip preview album.  I'll probably reprocess everything once I get home and am working on my desktop machine.  My laptop has been crashing a lot on lightroom on these big panoramas.
