Some strong opinions indeed. I know for sure I am going to enjoy the optical viewfinder and very good IQ from my K1 for a long time. That said, I have been seriously looking at the Panasonic G9 (micro-4/3) and a few of the Panasonic/Leica lenses for that, specifiacally the 100-400mm. (which is an 800mm equivalent on micro-4/3) For action, birding, but also video and focus-stacking it would be far superior to the K1, although the IQ is a bit less due to the smaller sensor (less DR, more noise). But hey, who said we need to choose one over the other, when we can have both :) Regards, JvW ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jan van Wijk; http://www.dfsee.com Flickr : jvw_pentax -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
