Yup.  It has its weaknesses (bokeh, focus speed ) but for something I picked up 
used for $800 it does a great job, particularly on the K-3.  I kind of wish I 
could afford a modern teleconverter for it.  I guess I just have to try to make 
up for my lack of funding by improving my skill.

Not to mention be eaten.

Did you raise the domestic or the wild variety?
