This was taken with a flaky Vivitar 285HV. All of my Pentax flashes appear
to be dead now. And since all of them are OLD, none will be covered by

Is there any place I can send them that will actually repair them? Or
should I just trash them & replace?

Unusual for them all to be completely dead. You can recondition capacitors
by setting to manual, then charging and discharging repeatedly. Might take
some time to charge the first few cycles.

I killed one of them by leaving batteries in it too long & they leaked.

The other two were stored without batteries. When I put batteries in them they won't turn on at all. I'm sure I did something wrong with them as well.
