Well the new f4.0 70=210 Pentax wouldn't work for you. No aperture ring
and it's electronic aperture control, so pretty useless on a camera it's
not designed for. It looks good for shooting on Pentax cameras after
the K-5II, but anything digital from the K-5 series back is most likely
a no go situation.

They did, however, manage to squeeze a new lens onto the market very
recently, a 70-210 f/4 continuous aperture zoom.
I was in the market a few months ago for a constant aperture f/2.8 zoom in that
range. The only stipulation was that it needed to have a manual iris ring on
the lens and be a 'two-touch' zoom.
It could have been Pentax, or anything in fact. I needed it for my video kit to
use with a Canon C300 camera (EF mount).
Ideally I was after a Tokina ATX 80-200/2.8 in any mount. In fact I eventually
nabbed a Nikkor 80-200/2.8 and quickly sent it off to The Lens Doctor, a wild
and canny Scot who used to be a roadie years ago for Black Sabbath or
something. Anyway, he specialises in converting lenses by swapping the mounts
to EF, de-clicking the aperture control and then using some Highlands magic to
dampen it's movement, and generally clean it up. One of the lens groups had the
startings of fungus so he cleaned it and applied TLC. Here it is on the C300:

I briefly tried to find a suitable Pentax lens but didn't get very far.
This is the lens type I got (if you can excuse Ken Rockwell one more time...)
<https://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/80200.htm>
And it really is a solid T-Rex pellet of a lens. Weighs a great deal and needs
the lens support as it damn near tries to tear the front off the poor C300.
So my lenses with this kit are now: Nikkor 17-35/2.8, Nikkor 80-200/2.8,
EF24-105/4 L IS, and believe it or not a Tokina 90mm 2.5 Macro in K mount with
an EF adapter!
I would use the A*85/1.4 but to be honest the Nikkor does okay with wide open
dreamy bokeh, and my A* is used for stills with my Oly Pen F kit.
Sorry to butt in.

Any idiot can shoot with a Canon, Nikon, or Sony, it takes a special kind of
idiot to use a Pentax.
