Unfortunately, yes. The masses here are a violent lot going back to
Apartheid days. Rubber bullets & Sjambok whips now made from plastic are
routinely used. The masses retaliate with rock throwing. The masses
think this is all nonsense & that Covid poses no threat to the masses
SA. It is very tough for the ultra poor with no resources or jobs. The
extreme corruption of the last 10 years has ruined the SA economy but,
for political reasons, no-one has yet been brought to book.
