As soon as I hit send, I remembered a couple of wild life moments I forgot to 
mention.  
On my way up Big Basin Way, there was a hawk, I couldn’t tell if it was a red 
tail or red shouldered, that flew past me not that high above me.  I saw it 
take short flights up the road a few times after that.

On my ride back down the hill, there was a bobcat I was catching up with, and 
it ran ahead of me until it got to a point where it could leave the road to the 
left.  I’m probably lucky that it wasn’t felis concolor, as one of those might 
not have run *away* from me.
