Hi Team,

Thanks for the input, it made me look a bit harder, after further inspection I
guess that Frantisek was closest to the mark. My reasoning is as follows:

The double image was at the start of shutter run not the end where I expect 
that
you would see the effects of shutter bounce. The shutter speed would have been
higher than sync, maybe around 1/200th and it was a momentary interruption 
hence
the limited effect at the beginning of the exposure. It wasn't shake or quake
(which it would have had to be at 31mm :-) and if it were surely it would have
occurred throughout the whole exposure. 

There appears to be a smaller than usual inter-frame gap hence I expect that
soon after the exposure began the film shifted but had completely settled by 
2/3
the way across the frame. Fortunately this is the first time I have seen this
and I hope it's the last.
