The same hot spell here on the European continent.
There are a lot of butterflies around, but it is no fun now to chase
them with my camera.

Damn, y'all have some interesting weather. We just get hurricanes and the
occasional earthquake.
We've got some pretty unusual weather right now, a 'plume' of hot air coming up
from north Africa, passing across Europe and straight over us. Temps for the
past 5 days have been approx 34 deg C in the southeast of the UK (we've had 33
today) which is hell. The nice thing about Britain is that at least it changes
fairly quickly, as our weather is determined by the Atlantic - prevailing winds
are westerlies - or *should be*.
The youngsters like it, but personally I find it awful. Thundery breakdowns
spreading more widely over the next few days and it will all be gone by Monday
:-)
Meanwhile, I'm sitting in our home office with the aircon keeping it to about
24 in here.
