Actually, there are quite a few folks working to help the Monarchs
survive.  They are magnificent creatures, and their numbers have declined
drastically in the past 20 years.  Fewer and fewer are making the long
migration to Mexico each fall.  It would be a tragedy to lose them from our
backyards.
