Hello Bernd! Now that makes perfect sense. I think you`re right that the rear element floats, because my K-mount specimen had a loose filter ring on it, Dean (my repairman) took it apart and told me to hold the front element group while he tightened some screws, and I don`t remember him fighting any springs in the process. The nice thing about this list-you`ll get to the bottom of it, no matter what.
