dick, That is exactly what the original poster said was important. That is why the whole discussion occurred. The MZ-S was ruled out in favor of the PZ-1p because of high drive speed. Then I said that Pentax is not strong in this venue. The PZ-1p has winder speed but single sensor AF and the MZ-S has slow winder speed. No pentax glass has the equivalent of USM motors in the lenses, which helps with speed on big glass. Since the poster was going to buy body and lenses for it, I suggested he look to other brands also as they might meet his needs better.
