My wife had a typically strong reaction to the second (Pfizer) shot. She had the swollen "Covid arm", drowsiness, and the like. I had absolutely no reaction at all. That's not entirely unusual for me - I rarely have any reaction to things like the annual flu shot - but the fact that I did have a (slight) reaction to the first Covid jab led me to hypothesize that maybe my "first shot" reaction was in fact a response from an immune system that had already been primed somehow by a low-level (and totally asymptomatic) exposure. That theory now seems to be making the rounds in the local medical communities after several (far more severe) reactions to first shots have occurred. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
