On 8/4/21, Ralf R Radermacher, discombobulated, unleashed:
>Astra Zeneca. They got loads of that now and us over 60s could apply to
>be vaccined well ahead of our planned time. I wasn't exactly
>enthousiastic but Michael gently nudged me (at least that's what he
>calls it).
I've had my first AZ and felt fine for the first 12 hours or so - then had
fluey feeling, inc an hour of chills, then slept and in the morning was okay,
fine later that day. No arm pain at all.
The incidence of fatal blood clotting is approx 1 in a million. The incidence
of blood clotting from taking the birth control pill (say) is 1 in 1000. Too
low to be worried about it.
