I've seen a couple of different reports on the AZ vaccine. One suggesting the
risk of clots is linked to low blood platelet counts so recipients should have a
CBC/FBC blood test before receiving the AZ vaccine.
I saw another report suggesting maybe not using the AZ vaccine for those under
45 years of age.
I didn't look too closely at them because I'm older than that & because I'd
already had the two Pfizer shots before I saw those news reports.
But it seems like the AZ vaccine is "safe" if care is taken in which patients
it's administered to.

are getting the first one soon.
Nope, it will be several months between shots up here because they want to get
first shots to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. I'm OK with
this, what with living in the North American hot spot at the moment.
I'm not sure where I'll be at, as the powers that be seem insistent on pulling
the AZ vaccine off the market.
