The Moment camera app allows you to save captures as DNG raw files. It works well, but there are some circumstances when the Apple Camera app does a better job due to combining captures from multiple cameras and outputting an .HEIF file. I use both camera apps with the iPhone 11 Pro and have gotten some excellent photos out of it.
The iPhone 12 has a couple more features in the cameras than the iPhone 11. I haven't spent any time with a 12 yet.
