Subject: Small sensors are better than you think
I made a video about how I like cameras with small sensors. Featuring the
MX-1, Ricoh GR Digital IV and photos from the Q7
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQWxUFJR7Xk
These cameras have become basically unnecessary given that we have things
like the GR with an APS-C sensor (and the 16MP GR2 is one of my favorite
cameras of all time). But I really think there's something about the images
coming out of 1/1.7" or so sensors at around 12MP that compares well with
grainy 35mm black and white film.

I gotta agree too. I've been pocketing a Olympus XZ-1 for years, and
recently upgraded that to a XZ-2. These, too, are equivalent to the
MX-1, GR IV, etc. Both have their custom settings set up for B&W, with a
little extra sharpening and contrast, and get used at ISO320/640.
They're terrific little devices.
