There is a lot to go through in the comments.  It’s been nearly 40 years since 
my last DSP class.

Like everything else DPR, they will toss around a lot of theoretical bullshit with no looking at visual results, and then conclude that the out of focus rendering of a green chain-link fence is indicative of LoCA because they pretty much all have their heads up their asses over there. Sorry, but I'm pretty sure the engineers at Ricoh/Pentax have more on the bit that some internet eggheads that think they have built a test bench out of some scrap 2x4s and an empty Coke bottle.

The baked in NR will have them pilloried, whether or not there is a loss of detail.
