Building on Paul’s comments: You might try repeating the series with a grey card next to the plants. I have been surprised by how much subtle changes in the ambient lighting (for example by a thicker cloud covering the sun, or 10 minutes toward the end of the day) can change the appearance of photos. When I check the color temperature of the grey card image in LR, there are often remakable differences between exposures, which I can then correct for.
The K-3iii image also appears slightly less sharp, which is probably from a passing zephyr, but might be from a need for a slight calibration.
