Thanks for your comments, everyone. Larry, I appreciate your detailed critique. This was a tricky shot to get because of fast-changing light, fast-moving kayaks, and non-moving greenery and buildings. I experimented with a bunch of different crops on the ten frames I shot, and this seemed to work the best.
That is a mooring bouy in the foreground, that had a sailing catamaran tied to it the next day.
