Didn't go. Trying again

Late yesterday afternoon, a fatigued driver fell asleep on the National Road overpass across Phalaborwa about 2km from the Kruger Park gate, crashed through the barriers & ended up against a Knoppiesdoorn (Acacia) tree. The driver survived with minor head injuries.

A bit of history:

A few years ago, Rio Tinto sold Palabora Mining Company (a copper mine) to Chinese HBIS who bought it primarily for several million tons of Magnetite (Fe3O4) accumulated as a waste by-product with the intention of exporting to China for the steel industry. The railways had no spare capacity so a sub-contracted fleet of about 400 of these trucks were engaged to truck the Magnetite to Maputo. Each load is about 40 tons wuth up to 8000 tons being moved daily.
