Hi Bill - can you say when this happens? I can find nowhere in the "File" menu in PS where this happens on my system. The only similar event is when I select "Open as copy" from the Camera Raw "Open" dropdown, when the suffix "-x" is added to the original file name, where x starts at 1.

Photoshop insists on changing the filename to "untitled-xxx.xxx rather than using the original filename. The only explanation I've been able to find involves Apple changing something in their operating system, but I'm not using an Apple machine. Anyone know how to fix it? thanks bill -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
