I'm not shooting anything new either __ I can't hold a camera to my eye
without some pain for more than a few seconds.. I'm just going through
old files to digitize film stuff and design my calendars because "I HAVE
TO" :-) Posting on Facebook when it strikes my fancy and because of
many friends there who are not photos who do want to see my snaps of any
age...
My K-5 is affixed to my tri pod for ebay product shooting.. the coolpix
is lighter than the K-5 but still to heavy to carry with me outside...
and I have little interest in my neighborhood, to tell the truth, from a
photo point of view.. I long for slickrock and ghost towns and
woodlands so go back to my files
for those...
my balance is off too.. although cortisone saved my knees at least for
a while- I stumble about clumsily .. have to concentrate on walking, can't
browse for interesting things to shoot.
I do love hunting for things to add to the pug and I enjoy especially
the wonderful work of many of you who live in places that are beautiful.
New York is a hell hole these days.. except that I have very cheap rent
and easy access to food and clothing that I can afford and visits
occasionally with younger friends who can come visit. at leas people
are more sensible than not about masks and vaxes

I’m not shooting much. Busy, tired, health issues. I shoot more with my phone than with my camera. But I do plan to get back to shooting birds, probably not much until spring. For the occasional pic it’s much easier to post on Facebook, and at least from my friends group, I can generally expect more feedback.But I do enjoy the list. Miss the days when we talked gear extensively, but there was a lot more to talk about then. (What causes LX sticky mirror? When is the dslr coming and why did the D1 die?)
