I don’t see them as mutually exclusive. There might even be good adapters that let you use K mount on u43 bodies. I’d suggest renting a body of interest for a weekend and going to a local track when a club is putting on a track day to get a feel for how it works in real life. You could splurge and rent both an OLY and a K-3iii. Or, you could buy the Oly for general carry around and just rent whatever top of the line Pentax for a week or two when you’re heading out to a race. In any case I’d be very tempted to just buy a used copy of the penultimate top of the line camera. Unfortunately I don’t think the K-3iii prices will fall significantly for a bit. Maybe for some big sales in the next couple of months if you’re lucky, otherwise probably not until February. > -- > %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List > To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. > -- Larry Colen [email protected] -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
