I've told this story before: mine was an Asahi Pentax SV, bought for me by a
nurse travelling via Singapore while I was
living on St. Helena in 1968: the camera arrived about four months after she
left, due to there only being sea mail
service to the island!
It was stolen in 1975 in the East End of London, but I bought it's exact twin
in Adelaide about 15 years ago, and it
still works like new.

3mmm   ?  hmmm :-)

My first pentax was the 1000 with th standard recommended combo of lenses to
cover everything... 50,28,135  the 28mm
instead of the 35mm was suggeted to me but I can't remember who clue me about
it..it was a great decision.  I still have
that 28mm I bought in 1975.
