I've told this story before: mine was an Asahi Pentax SV, bought for me by a nurse travelling via Singapore while I was living on St. Helena in 1968: the camera arrived about four months after she left, due to there only being sea mail service to the island! It was stolen in 1975 in the East End of London, but I bought it's exact twin in Adelaide about 15 years ago, and it still works like new.
