Maui looks exceptionally green this year, more like one would expect of Kua'i. There have been more winter rains than usual, including a Kona storm that caused some localized flooding.
During a storm about 6 weeks ago, this sailboat ran aground on the beach at Kamaole Beach Park III, near where we stay.
