Up until now I have been using and getting good service from a Drobo multi disc raid like (but not really raid) hard drive enclosure. I would like to add a second storage device as the Drobo is getting a bit old. They appear to be not making machines and haven’t for some time, so the dumb question is what's reasonably good in this product category? I presume that whatever I buy will be a raid device of some sort. My major criteria is it should be as idiot proof as possible. What I like about the Drobo is how ridiculously simple it is to use.
