Thanks, Alan!

There were 3 organized play groups scattered around the park that morning. I’ve 
passed through that park many times (though usually before 9am) ahd haven’t 
seen them before.

Rittenhouse Square, as well as the park near our house and the nearby cemetery, 
are maintained through the energies of “friends” organizations that hold 
periodic cleanup days, lobby the city government, and raise money.  They were a 
mess when we moved here 40 years ago.
