No, I didn't score onebay. No, I didn't take the picture of a lifetime. I saved the life of a mother duck and her ducklings. They started walking across a busy 4 lane road. When I realized what was in front of me I slammed on the brakes and honked the horn. The seemed to turn back, but after a second or two, the mother duck continued towards the centre lanes. I had only one option. I got out of the car and stopped all oncoming traffic (crazy). And then proceeded to escort the flock across the street.
When I returned to my car, instead of getting dirty looks, people started to applaude. This made my day. I didn't have to record it with a camera. It's etched forever in my mind.
