It's much the same all over Western Europe. There are even bigger fires
in France again. We had one near Berlin in a forest where the local
authorities stock and destroy unexplosed ordnance and illegal fireworks,
making the work of the fire brigade even more difficult and dangerous.

For the first time in living memory, the source of the river Thames has
dried up, shipping on the Rhine is severely hampered and the river Po in
Northern Italy has been reduced to a rivulet, leaving the vast rice
fields in the area high and dry.

But, of course, all this has nothing to do with climate change...
