Ah, good! I'm glad they helped you sort it out. 
A bad update/install-over … It's rare but it does happen. 

I just couldn't figure out what OS you were updating and to what; macOS Ventura 
is v13.x (I'm on macOS Ventura v13.2 at present with a 2018-2019 Mac mini 
i7-six core).
