That sounds reasonable, and probably more likely than they have the K-1 III
almost ready to go, and will only have a couple of months between making the
K-3 iii obsolete as a flagship and having a new flagship available.
I think we have to get used to Pentax having two K Mount flagship cameras.
If your K3 craps out, what are you gonna do? Do you have a back up plan? If
it's switch over to a K1 for the DA lenses, is 16mp enough?
To be honest, I never really felt resolution limited on the 6MP K100, or the 12
or 16 MP (or whatever they were) K20, K-x, K-5 ...
Myself as well. I could pretty much live with 12mp and it would suit
much of what I do.
