Ryan,
In my very honest opinion, I think nest shooting is a bad thing to 
do. You don't say which species you are shooting, but most birds 
are disturbed by human presence. To shoot with flash will make it 
worse.

To minimise the impact I would at least recommend to use pola 
filter and long exposure times.

Or abstain from the shoot? -Well... It's just my 2 cents.
