Since it's a color head it's just going to be very bright with the dials at zero. The lamp has to be bright enough so that when a dial is maxed out you still get a reasonable time. The dual filtration method you mentioned would definitely slow it down...on my old color head I found it slowed things down *too* much. You'll have to experiment. I also found that method wasn't very accurate. If it has a filter drawer you might also experiment with trying the Ilford filters. Their advantage is that they change the exposure by a known amount, whereas fiddling with a single dial on the head will change it by an unknown amount. tv - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
