Well Rick, it's 3 years late, but I managed to get a pretty decent shot
of the delicate bits of a Christmas Cactus a little while ago and just
came past this email and I realized I had never responded.
So, while I had completely forgot about your post at the time.....

There is a small amount of Pentax content. It was shot with the Fuji
X-T5, but it was mounted to a Pentax bellows K. I used a Nikkor 105mm
enlarging lens as the optic.
It is a 63 image focus stack done by moving the entire rig on the
bellows focusing rail and combined the images in Zerene focus stacking.
Enjoy..

I like that picture. We have one that is just going into bud, so I
accept your challenge. When ours blooms I will post my response....

This is just a modest potted cactus until mid-December, when bright
red flowers grow from the tips of its leaves (though many don’t make
it past the bud stage). This year our plant bloomed twice, in
December and again late last month.
