Well, that was the eclips tonight. I had sought a decent location on a dune top to take some pictures. I got special carton eclips glasses from my optician and was therefore well prepared to view the event. However, as the eclips was not more than 90%, I discovered that there was too much contrast with the remaining sunshine for a proper landscape picture. I should have used a graduated ND filter. And I didn't dare to take a close-up of the sun/moon combo without a special eclips filter .
Lesson learned. Now I have to wait till 2081 for another decent eclips here.
