Might be the film too.I have looked at the shots again and the Optima II seem less harsh,smoother,than the Portra 400vc.There was also more wind and dust when shooting the 160vc.May be part of the problem.I checked Shels film comparison page and the Optima II is listed as Med to High for Contrast. Hummmmm,maybe i'll try some of it on the HHH days and see.
