Since I bought my 6x7 last December, my 35mm use has been largely
limited to walkarounds with my MX and 40/2.8. Tonight, however, I had to
get a few incidental shots for a project I'm working on. I didn't feel
like rigging up the 6x7, so I opted for the LX with motor drive, a
90/2.5 Vivitar Series 1 Macro, and the AF400T flash on a Stroboframe
with a small reflector. What a joy it was to work with this setup again:
TTL, motor drive convenience, that beautiful, metal barrel Series 1
lens, and a manageable overall weight. Gosh, I remember when that rig
felt heavy.
